Something creative to look forward to these holidays.
Fun, hands-on art workshops for children who want to spend part of their school holidays creating, experimenting and making something of their own.
Each holiday brings new projects, materials and creative possibilities — with guidance and encouragement throughout.
School Holiday Workshops
A little more time to get creative
School holiday workshops give children the chance to spend longer exploring a creative project than they might during a regular weekly class.
Workshops may include drawing, painting, clay, sculpture, mixed media, building, crafting or something completely different.
Some workshops focus on creating a particular project, while others are designed around experimenting with a medium or theme.
Every workshop is different, but they're all about having fun and making something with your own hands.
What can they expect?
Create
Spend time immersed in a hands-on creative project
Explore
Try materials and techniques they might not normally have the opportunity to use.
Experiment
Make choices, try ideas and discover what happens.
Have Fun
A relaxed holiday activity where there are no school assignments or grades involved.
Upcoming Workshops
The next workshops are coming soon
I don't currently have school holiday workshops open for booking, but new creative workshops will be announced here as the next school holidays approach.
If you'd like to be the first to hear about new workshops as they are released, join the Creative Kids list.
Paint A Penguin
Celebrate one of our most loved local attractions — the penguin — in this fun and creative painting workshop! Kids will get the chance to paint their very own penguin on canvas, exploring texture, colour, and brush techniques while making a unique artwork to take home.
Creative Kids Art Workshop
Explore. Create. Imagine!
Let your little artist dive into a world of colour, texture, and creativity!
This workshop is designed especially for young children aged 4 to 6, encouraging playful expression through a variety of hands-on art and craft activities.
Paint A Vinyl record
In this creative workshop, kids get to transform old vinyl records into their very own works of art! Each child will paint directly onto a vinyl record, designing a unique piece they can proudly take home and display. With a focus on both creativity and technique, this class provides young artists with the freedom to express themselves while learning essential preparation skills for future art projects.
Charcoal Art Workshop
Step into the expressive world of charcoal! This workshop is designed for young artists eager to explore new techniques, experiment with bold mark-making, and discover the beauty of working in black and white. With a focus on light, shadow, and self-expression, this class provides a supportive environment for developing both technical skills and creative confidence.
Pet Portraits Drawing Workshop
Is your child an animal lover who enjoys drawing? In this instructional class, young artists aged 12 and up will learn how to create a detailed portrait of their own pet – using just pencils, observation, and a few essential drawing techniques.
Kid’s Drawing Workshop
Our fun and engaging drawing class is specially designed for children aged 7 to 10. Whether your child already loves to draw or is just beginning their artistic journey, this class offers a wonderful opportunity to learn, play, and grow through art.

Every holidays can be a little different.
Past workshops and creative projects have included everything from painting and drawing to clay, miniature worlds, mixed media, sculpture and imaginative builds.
I love giving children the opportunity to try something they might not normally choose — while still leaving room for them to put their own personality into what they create.
New workshop ideas are developed throughout the year, so there's always something different to look forward to.
Workshops are designed for children within the advertised age range of each individual workshop.
Some workshops are suitable for beginners, while others may be designed around a particular skill or project.
No previous art experience is usually required unless specifically stated.
