Relaxed, social art workshops on the Bass Coast for adults who want to try something creative, meet like-minded people and enjoy a night away from the usual routine.

You don’t have to be “an artist” to enjoy art.

These workshops aren't about producing the perfect artwork or proving how creative you are.

They're about sitting down, trying something new, getting your hands dirty, having a laugh and enjoying the process.

Come on your own or bring a friend. Follow along with the workshop, put your own spin on it, chat, experiment and enjoy a few hours where your only job is to make something.

No grades. No pressure. No expectation to be good at it.

What can I expect?

Create

Try a new creative activity and make something you can take home.

Connect

Come with friends, meet new people and create alongside other adults.

Have a Laugh

Expect conversation, experimentation and probably a few moments where things don’t quite go to plan.

Unwind

Put the phone down, step away from work and everyday responsibilities, and give yourself some creative time.

Each workshop is a little different, but you'll always have guidance to help you get started.

I'll introduce the project or creative activity, talk you through the techniques and materials you'll be using, and then give you plenty of time to create.

You can follow along, ask questions, experiment with the idea or put your own personality into what you're making.

There'll be time to chat, laugh, make a mess and enjoy the company of other creative people — while still having the support you need if you get stuck.

You don't need to arrive knowing what you're doing. That's part of the fun.

Pencils & Pinot is a relaxed, social night designed for anyone who wants to slow down, get creative, and enjoy a beautiful atmosphere.

Set in our cosy bar space, you’ll have everything you need to draw at your own pace — with optional prompt cards, simple still life setups, and plenty of room to just be.

No pressure.

No expectations.

No experience needed.

Paint N Sip

Paint and Sip art workshops are a fun and relaxed way to connect with friends, meet new people, and spark your creativity. Perfect for social gatherings, celebrations, or simply a day or evening out, these sessions combine the joy of painting with the enjoyment of a glass (or two) of wine or champagne. The cost includes your canvas, all painting tools and supplies, plus two hours of guided creativity with the artist on hand to assist and encourage you throughout the process. No prior experience is needed - just bring your imagination and enjoy a memorable, laughter-filled experience where you’ll create your own unique artwork to take home.

Never been to an art workshop before?

That's completely fine.

You'll be guided through the activity, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and work at your own pace.

You don't need previous experience, artistic training or a particular level of confidence.

Just bring yourself — and perhaps a willingness to give something new a go.

No. Workshops are designed to be enjoyable for beginners as well as people with previous creative experience.

Do I need to be artistic?

Do I need to bring anything?

If you’d like a little sip with your creative time, bring along your favourite drink; otherwise, aprons and all other materials (including snacks) are provided.

Absolutely. Workshops are social, and you’re welcome whether you’re coming alone of with friends.

Of course — just make sure each person has their own booking where required.
