About Chelsea Anne
I’m Chelsea Anne, an artist and workshop facilitator based on the Bass Coast, Victoria, creating soulful, nature‑inspired original artworks and bespoke commissions that invite emotional connection and individuality.
Born and raised in Fremantle, Western Australia, my art story was shaped early by a mother who lived and breathed bold colours and emotive art, and by high school, I spent time as an art scholar training under a rotating cast of local artists across many mediums and styles. My pieces found a home in the school's roaming gallery and were quietly passed on at charity silent auctions. While family life later took centre stage for many years, eventually, I rekindled that ember of creative energy, and a new chapter began, grounded in the techniques I learned as a student but blossoming into work that reflects my own voice, a love of nature and an invitation to make art that feels soulful, joyful and true.
At Art by Chelsea Anne, I create small, welcoming workshops where creativity is about far more than producing a finished artwork. Every person who walks through the door brings different experiences, interests and ways of learning, so my sessions are designed to meet them where they are. Whether we're drawing, painting, experimenting with mixed media or exploring a personal project, my role is to guide, encourage and gently challenge each individual in a way that builds confidence over time. I believe creativity grows through curiosity, experimentation and learning to trust yourself. That's why my workshops focus not only on developing artistic skills, but also on nurturing resilience, problem-solving and independent creative thinking—helping students leave with confidence they can carry into every future project.
For me, creating is a practice of growth, and every painting is both an exploration and an invitation - to feel, to remember, and to connect.
Thank you for being here and for being part of this journey with me.
“I don't believe creativity is about producing perfect artwork or following someone else's path. It's about learning to observe, experiment, solve problems, trust your instincts and discover your own creative voice.
Whether I'm painting in my studio or guiding someone through their own creative journey, my hope is always the same: that they leave believing they're capable of more than they imagined.”
