More than a portrait. A little piece of them to keep.
Create an original artwork that captures the personality, character and little details that make your pet uniquely theirs.
Whether they're still by your side or forever in your heart, a commissioned pet portrait is a beautiful way to celebrate the bond you share.
Pet Portraits
They were never “just a pet.”
They become part of our routines, our homes and our lives.
They're there when we're celebrating, when we're struggling and when we simply need someone beside us.
That's why creating a pet portrait isn't just about getting the markings or colours right. It's about capturing something that makes you look at the finished artwork and immediately think:
"That's them."
Their expression. Their personality. The look in their eyes. The little details you'd recognise anywhere.
That's what I want your portrait to hold onto.
Pet portraits can be created for…
A much-loved companion
Celebrate a pet who’s still part of your everyday life.
A beautiful memorial
Create something meaningful to remember a pet who has passed.
A thoughtful gift
Give someone a portrait of an animal they adore.
A family keepsake
Create something you’ll be able to keep and enjoy for years to come.
Dogs, cats and other much-loved companions are welcome. If you have something a little more unusual in mind, just ask.
Capturing personality, not just appearance.
A good pet portrait needs to look like your animal — but I also want it to feel like them.
I pay attention to the details that make a difference: their expression, the way they look at you, their markings, their quirks and the little features you'd recognise instantly.
I'll work from your photographs while using my own artistic judgement to create an original piece of artwork rather than simply reproducing the reference image.
The goal is that familiar feeling of recognising them the moment you see the finished portrait.
Colour or black & White?
Your portrait can be created in colour or black & white, depending on the look and feeling you're after.
Colour can bring out the character, markings and warmth of your pet, while black & white creates a timeless, more classic feel and can place greater emphasis on expression and detail.
Not sure which would suit your pet best?
Send me your reference photo, and I'm happy to help you decide.
You don’t need a professional photograph.
The best reference photo isn't necessarily the one taken by a professional photographer.
Sometimes it's the slightly imperfect photo that captured their expression perfectly.
If you have several photographs, send them through. I can help determine which will work best — and in some cases, several photographs can be used together to create the final composition.
If your favourite photo isn't quite perfect, don't rule it out.
Send it through and let's see what we can do.For the ones we had to say goodbye to.
Losing a pet can leave an enormous space behind.
A memorial portrait can be a way to honour that bond and keep something tangible from the years you shared.
If your pet has passed away, you don't need to have one perfect photograph. Send me the images and memories you have, even if they're old, imperfect or from different moments.
I'll work with what you have to create something that honours them.
If you're considering a memorial portrait, you're welcome to contact me before placing an order.
